Anastasiya Glamozda: “I sing about love which happened in the past and will never come back to life.”

Anastasiya Glamozda is a young musician and she will be competing at the Belarus National Selection for the first time. Her entry “Burning Again” is the song for which she wrote the lyrics and was one of the co-authors.

Hello Anastasiya, you are a newcomer to the Belarus National Selection how does that feel and what inspired you to apply for a chance to represent your country at Eurovision?
Since childhood, I have been following Eurovision and always wanted to apply for the selection, but there was no suitable song to do so. When I wrote a song in Eurovision style I applied. I was inspired by my ex-boyfriend, I loved him and the song is about love which will never return again.

You are the author of lyrics and you took part working on other elements of the song “Burning again” how does it feel to present your own work to the audience, how are you satisfied with their reactions to it so far?
I read various comments, they were all saying different things. Many people like the song very much, but others absolutely dislike it. I am satisfied with my song and how it turned out to be.

Could you tell us more about the idea behind the song “Burning Again”?
“Burning Again” is a song about love, which happened in the past and will never come back to life. But if you two have parted, it does not mean that your love has passed. It will always burn in your soul like fire.

Can you tell us more about the performance you are planning for the final?
I will not reveal anything about what we came up with for the final. I will just say that we have changed the whole image and concept.

Have you listened to the songs of other participants? If yes then which one except your own do you like the most?

I have listened to the songs and most of all I like Yan Yarosh and VAL.

Which musicians do you enjoy listening to and is there some artist you look up to?
I like to listen to sad music and artists such as Lana Del Rey, Andrey Lenitskiy, PLC, Hammali Navai, Bahh Tee

What is your first memory related to Eurovision?
When I was a child I remember Junior Eurovision Song Contest when Nastya Petrik won with the song “Небо”.

Do you watch the show regularly and which song is your favorite?
The three songs I like the most are: Soldi, Euphoria and Arcade

What are your plans for the upcoming year?

I want to write more interesting songs, try myself for Voice and Songs. Learn and pass the session.

Do you want to share something else or you maybe have a message for followers of escbubble?
If you love what you are doing, then continue to do this and don’t listen to anyone. Go ahead and don’t hamper the bad comments and opinion of others. Do what you love for the sake of people and you will succeed.
