The Czech national broadcaster ČT once again organized an online national selection, in order to select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. A total of seven songs took part, and the winner was decided by a mix of international jury votes, and online voting through the eurovision.tv app. The voting lasted for two weeks, and at a press conference that took place today, the results were revealed, and the winner was announced – Benny Cristo!
The seven acts which competed in the Czech national selection were:
- Barbora Mochowa – White And Black Holes
- Benny Cristo – Kemama
- Elis Mraz feat. Čis T – Wanna Be Like
- Karelll – At Least We’ve Tried
- Olga Lounová – Dark Water
- Pam Rabbit – Get Up
- We All Poop – All The Blood (Positive Song Actually).
The favorite of the international juries was once again Barbora Mochowa, the favorite of the international public vote were We All Poop, and the public favorite was Benny Cristo. When the points of both the juries (including the online vote from international fans) and the public were added together, the winner was Benny Cristo!
