Bora Dugić will NOT perform in Beovizija!

Beovizija is set to start on this Friday, and rehearsals in RTS are already underway. A total of 24 acts are going to compete in this year’s edition, and the winner is going to represent Serbia at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.

After a scandal with the lyrics of the song “Svadba velika” by Bora Dugić and Balkubano, the authors had to change the lyrics of the song in order to stay in the competition. The new version is out, and they remain in the contest, however, they will be performing without Bora Dugić.

Bora Dugić represented Serbia in Eurovision 2008 alongside Jelena Tomašević. He was set to perform “Svadba velika” together with Balkubano, but due to health issues, he is not going to be in Beovizija after all, thus the song is going to be performed by the band only.

The two semi finals of Beovizija 2020 are going to take place on Friday and Saturday (28th and 29th of February), whilst the Grand Final is scheduled for the 1st of March. Let us know which acts are YOUR favorites by voting in our polls below.
