The Grand Final of the second season of X Factor Malta finished moments ago. Four contestants sung for victory and for the right to represent Malta in Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam. At the end of the evening the winner was announced – Destiny!
Kyle Cutajar was the first eliminated act, who thus finished in fourth place this season. The only band in the Final – F.A.I.T.H finished in third place, which meant that the top two are Justine Shorfid and Destiny Chukunyere – both mentored by Ira Losco.
After the final song, and another performance of the star guests Louisa Johnson and Amelia Lily, the host Ben Camille announced that Destiny is the winner, and this she will go on to represent Malta in Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam. Her song is yet to be selected.
