Gabriel Jeeg is competing in Depi Evratesil 2020 with the song “It’s Your Turn” and we had the opportunity to talk with him before the final. The National final will take place on 15 February, where 12 songs will compete to win the ticket for Rotterdam.

Hello Gabriel Jeeg and thank you for taking you time for ESCBubble!
First of all, how was your reaction when you heard you will be at Depi
Evratesil 2020?
I was shocked when I heard about it. It is amazing. It’s a great honor for me to participate there and present me and my town Kapan before the public.

What are your expectation from the contest?
What can I say? It’s a contest. Only God knows. Everything can happen.

What made you decide to enter in the contest?
I have always wanted to present my songs before the whole people of the world. And Depi Evratesil ( Eurovision) is a great platform to present my song in Europe.

Can you tell us about your song for Dei Evratesil, what it is
about?And why do you think your song would be a good choice for Armenia?
My song is a love story where the boy doesn’t get the girl’s answer. And the message of my song is “Not to be afraid of your pure love because tomorrow will be late.” And I think why not to choose this song! Anyway, I like it.

Do you follow Eurovision and have you a favorite song from the contest?
I have followed Eurovision and I have my favorite songs from the contest. It is Conchita Wurst – Rise like a phoenix, the next one is Duncan Laurence – Arcade, and the last one is Eleni Foureira – Fuego.

Any other plans for 2020? Can we expect new music from Gabriel?
I have always plans. Yes of course, in 2020 you can expect new songs from Gabriel Jeeg.
