Tonight is was time for the fourth and the final heat of Melodifestivalen 2020. There were 7 acts competing in tonight’s show in Malmö:
- Frida Öhrn – We Are One
- William Strid – Molnljus
- Nanne Grönvall – Carpool Karaoke
- Victor Crone – Troubled Waters
- Ellen Benediktsson & Simon Peyron – Surface
- Jakob Karlberg – Om du tror att jag saknar dig
- Hanna Ferm – Brave
After all the songs had been heard, it was time to hear the results of the first voting round and say goodbye to two acts. It was Nanne Grönvall and Jakob Karlberg that had to leave the competition.
After the first eliminations the voting lines were opened again and the voters had to decide, which two acts deserved to go straight to the final, which to acts deserved to go to Andra Chansen and which act had to leave the competition. After the votes of the second voting round were counted, it was Hanna Ferm and Viktor Crone who got the two places in the final and Frida Öhrn and Ellen Benediktsson & Simon Peyron who will perform in the Andra Chansen next week, so it was William Strid who had to leave the contest.
Congratulations to all of tonight’s qualifiers! Next week, on Saturday February 29th, it’s time for the Andra Chansen. The final of Melodifestivalen 2020 is taking place in Friends Arena in Stockholm in March 7th 2020.
