Hosts of Beovizija 2020 revealed!

As you may know Serbian selection for Eurovision 2020 – Beovizija is going to stick to traditional format and dates are set: the two semi-finals are going to be held at the 28th and 29th of February respectively, while the grand final will take place on the 1st of March, all broadcasted live from the RTS studios but today we got to know who will be the hosts of the event.

The four hosts of Beovizija 2020 are: Kristina Radenković and Dragana Kosjerina (as the regulars of the show) joined by Jovan Radomir and Stefan Popović even though the two of them are newcomers they are known to the wider audience.

Kristina Radenković is a regular host of Beovizija, first participated in a selection “Evropsko lice” (Face of Europe) where Serbia choose the anchors which were part of the team to present the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 held in Belgrade. After that she continued to work for Serbian broadcaster RTS and been a host of many other shows related to Serbian selections for both Eurovision and Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Radenković was even an actor in couple of Serbian TV series and since 2012 she was the host of the famous TV show “Slagalica”.

Dragana Kosjerina is another familiar face of Beovizija as she has been hosting a couple of previous shows together with Kristina and other colleagues. She was a model and a sports commentator for RTS and now she is hosting a morning show of the Serbian broadcaster named “Jutarnji program” and a popular quiz TV show “Ja Volim Srbiju”

Jovan Radomir is a TV presenter for SVT music department and a very familiar name to the Eurovision audience as he was the Swedish spokesperson announcing the results of the national televoting at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 and 2006. Alongside Alexandra Pascalidou he hosted the semi-final allocation draw for ESC 2016 and together with Catarina Rolfsdotter-Jansson he commented on the red carpet event that year. Radomir also hosted the press conferences for the contest and he was the author of “Destiny” the English translation of “Molitva” (ESC 2007) back in 2005 he wrote the lyrics to the song “You’re Gonna Get What You Deserve” performed by Nikita in the Bosnian selection for Eurovision 2005

Stefan Popović is a journalist, tv and radio host and actor from Australia with Serbian origin. He was working at Australian Channel Seven. Popović had a chance to interview celebrities such as Hugh Jackman, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Novak Đoković and many others. He was also a speaker of FC Melbourne Victory and a host of a lottery show. Serbian audience knows him best for being the presenter of a documentary “Kosovo: A Moment in civilization” and acting in two popular TV series “Bićemo prvaci sveta” and “Žigosani u reketu“.
