Labvakar everyone, and welcome to our live coverage of LTV’s Supernova 2020. The show will see performances from the nine finalists and will ultimately determine Latvia’s representative for Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam.
Our Editors Anne and Joe are in Riga for the show and will have access to the artists at the red carpet event (from 17:00CET) ahead of the main event which will commence at 20:25CET. They will be sharing all the news with some exclusive footage from the studio right here in our live blog, and on our social media channels, so please join us for what promises to be a great show.
Samanta Tina is the red hot favourite, scoring over half of all of the votes cast in our readers poll, but will she be the favourite among the voting public?, who this year will have the full control over the decision. A four person jury of music professionals across the Baltic region will share their thoughts on the performances but will not have a vote. International viewers can also take part in the vote, so look out for the link which will be shared in the blog.
