Milica Mišić is the youngest participant of Beovizija. She is a 16-year-old high school student at the Music school “Kosta Manojlović” in Smederevo. Serbian audience got familiar with her after the music show “Neki Novi Klinci” where she performed various Eurovision songs including “Beauty Never Lies” (Serbia 2015) and “Korake Ti Znam” (Bosnia & Herzegovina 2012)

Hi Milice can you tell us more about your hobbies and interests?
As a high school student of ethno-musicology I like everything connected to art: singing, acting, drawing and I am interested in foreign languages which I would like to study later.

Serbian audience got to know you as a participant of the music show “Neki Novi Klinci” how was that for you and do you think that experience could help you with your participation at Beovizija 2020?
While I competed at the show “Neki Novi Klinci” my confidence grew a lot, it gave me bigger publicity and new acquaintanceships. Back then as a super-finalist of the show I experienced performing in a live show so it would make my participation at Beovizija easier, but I would just like to add that every performance has its own story.

How does it feel that you are competing next to famous Serbian singers, some of which have been the jury of the show “Neki Novi Klinci“?
Honestly I haven’t been thinking about that before. That feels amazing, because I can say that I am honoured to compete with someone who rated my performances and advised me on the show.

How did the cooperation between Saška Janks and you start?
One of the songs I performed at the show “Neki Novi Klinci” was her song “Duga u tvojim očima”. She was very pleased with my performance and the proof of that is the call I received from her to participate at Beovizija. Saška is a huge support to me and the wind beneath my wings. 

Can you tell us a bit more about your performance for the song “Kiša”?
I could tell that inspiration of the song lies in the raindrops and the performance will be kept as a surprise.

Do you watch Eurovision regularly? What is your favourite song and what is your first memory related to the contest?
I watch it regularly and I would say that I was amazed with the performance of the song “Beauty Never Lies” by Bojana Stamenov because of her amazing voice. I had a chance to witness that when I performed the Serbian version “Ceo Svet Je Moj” at the show “Neki Novi Klinci“.

Do you have any role-models or a singer which inspires you?
Marija Šerifović was always my role model, and from the moment she won Eurovision I wished the same thing to myself. I am inspired by Saška Janks and I learned a lot from her so far.

What are your plans for your upcoming career?
I would like to leave a good impression at Beovizija and then I would like to continue working with music and to prosper with it.

Believe in your dreams, because if you really wish something with all the effort you put in it will be possible to realize it.
