NikkieTutorials has been announced as the online host of Eurovision 2020!
NikkieTutorials (real name: Nikkie de Jager) is arguably the most famous Dutch YouTube star with 13 million subscribers on YouTube and 13.8 million on Instagram, making wildly popular videos as a hair- & make-up artist, beauty guru and, because of that, being on friendly terms with people like Kim Kardashian, Jessie J and Lady Gaga, who have all featured in her videos!
Nikkie is thrilled and says:
From the moment Duncan Laurence won in Tel Aviv, I had only one wish: to be involved in the Dutch edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. When I was approached for this at the end of last year, I was so extremely honoured. I am really looking forward to immersing myself in this unique experience for 2 weeks
This means she will be reporting on everything going on at the contest via the official Eurovision social media channels. She will launch a special backstage YouTube series, where she hangs out with this year’s competing artists, will report from the Opening Ceremony and Red Carpet show and will be seen in all three live-shows!
