After a thrilling announcement of the public votes in Riga tonight, it has been revealed that Samanta Tina will finally realise her dream, and be representing Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam in May.

After a strong challenge from Katrina Dimanta, it was down to the final vote announcement which saw her soar above all her competitors to come out victorious!

We grabbed a few words with the emotional singer after her victory, and will share these with you tomorrow, but for now, and after 6 times of trying, Samanta will be singing her song “Still Breathing” for her beloved home country in the second semi final in Rotterdam on 14th May.
