Slovenia’s Kim Begovic releases new single “Calling Me”

Last year, Kim Begovic hit our screens when she appeared in Slovenia’s national selection – EMA. Whilst her song “Rhythm Back To You” didn’t go on to win the pre-selection, she was able to garner the attention of many Eurofans across the world with her confident performance.

A year on, Kim has released her debut international single – “Calling Me”. The track, written by Aidan O’Connor, Adriana Pupavac, Andreas Björkman, John Åhlin and Kim Begović herself, is a change of pace to her EMA track. The song itself is a pop-ballad with quite a dark instrumentation coinciding with the vulnerability that Kim shows with both the lyrics and the style of the video. Check out the music video here;

We learned last year that Kim is definitely not short on vocal ability – with the song lending itself well to the depth in her vocal. Could this be a teaser of what we could potentially expect from a future EMA comeback?
