The Eurovision 2020 stage will feature a semi-transparent screen!

A new feature of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 stage has just been revealed: this year, for the first time, the stage will have a retractable, semi-transparent screen!

This is the second LED wall, this one diagonally positioned on stage and will give the producers even more possibilities to deliver an outstanding show!
It’s a screen that is 22 meters wide and 5 meters high, that can also be used by delegations to provide a backdrop while their artist is performing on the (smaller) B-stage.

Because the LED wall is semi-transparent, the audience will still be able to see the stage while the screen is in use.
When in not in use, it can be completely retracted.

Sietse Bakker, Executive Producer Event, says the following on Twitter:

Do you like this addition to the stages we know?
And what other uses Sietse Bakker is alluding to do they have in mind with this screen?
