The last finalist of Melodi Grand Prix 2020 is: Liza Vassilieva! Vote for your favourite!

This year,Melodi Grand Prix marks 60th anniversary and Norway’s participation at Eurovision, so NRK made a special MGP. We are having semi-finals dedicated to different regions of the country the fifth one was for the region of North Norway and the show took place at the H3 Arena in Forenbu.

Four acts and songs were competing during the evening:

  • Elin & The Woods – We are as One 
  • Jenny Jenssen – Mr. Hello 
  • Kevin Boine – Stem på mæ 
  • Liza Vassilieva – I am Gay 

The songs were drawn into pairs at the start of the show and the duels were set as follows

  • Jenny Jenssen vs. Elin & The Woods
  • Kevin Boine vs. Liza Vassilieva

    The format of the show also introduces 5 pre-qualified entries each from the region to which semifinal is dedicated and this evening the pre-qualified entry was performed after the four semifinalists and it was Tone Damli with “Hurts Sometimes”

    The gold duel was consisting out of Elin & The Woods and Liza VassilievaAudience had 3 minutes to vote after each entry to decide the participants of the Golden duel so and qualified further, both of them performed their entries again and after votes of the audience they revealed the winner and it was:  Liza Vassilieva
