This is YOUR winner of Melodi Grand Prix 2020!
The Grand Final of Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix is taking place tonight presenting to us the 10 songs which we had the opportunity to hear at each of the 5 semi-finals during the previous weeks. Melodi Grand Prix celebrates 60 years and in the honour of that they prepared a special format for the contest and the semi-finals were reinstated for the first time since 2012. Winner will represent Norway at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam.
Here is your full guide to the final and you can read our interviews with Akuvi, Kristin, Didrik & Emil Solli-Tangen, Ulrikke, Liza and
We asked who do you choose among the 10 finalists as your personal favourite to win Melodi Grand Prix 2020 by voting in our poll. The results are as follows:
1. Raylee – Wild – 24.04%
2. Ulrikke Brandstorp – Attention – 22.25%
3. Rein Alexander – One Last Time – 15.6%
4. Liza Vassilieva – I Am Gay – 12.4%
5. Didrik & Emil Solli-Tangen – Out Of Air – 7.42%
6.
7. Magnus Bokn – Over The Sea – 4.99%
8. Tone Damli – Hurts Sometimes – 4.09%
9. Kristin Husøy – Pray For Me – 2.17%
10.
Even though Raylee’s “Wild” won the first place with 24.04% of your votes, there is not a huge difference between her and Ulrikke Brandstorp as her “Attention” got 22.25% of your votes. It seems like this will be between a neck and neck fight between the fans of an uptempo song and the ballad lovers. A bit further on the third
Our editors have also listened to all of the songs and voted. These were the overall results of our editors:
1. Rein Alexander – One Last Time
1. Ulrikke Brandstorp – Attention
3. Raylee – Wild
4. Magnus Bokn – Over The Sea
5. Kristin Husøy – Pray For Me
6. Didrik & Emil Solli-Tangen – Out Of Air
7. Tone Damli – Hurts Sometimes
8.
9. Liza Vassilieva – I Am Gay
10.
As you can see top 3 of both audience and editors is the same (just a slightly different order) and both had a hard time to decide who should win Melodi Grand Prix 2020 as the two acts have found themselves at the first place and those two are Rein Alexander with “One Last Time” and Ulrikke Brandstorp with “Attention”. At the third
