KAN to send Eden Alene to Rotterdam 2021

The cancelation of the Eurovision song contest which was due to take place this May in Rotterdam created a big chaos in the Eurovision bubble both for the broadcasters and the EBU as well as for the fans. For the fans a general opinion that justice should be done and all artists should come back and represent their countries once again in 2021 rose up. Many yet not all broadcasters agreed with this opinion and already announced that their artists will comeback next year. Joining this list today is Israel following the announcement on behalf of KAN that Eden Alene will be sent to the contest next year.

Eden was supposed to compete in the first semi final with her song “Fikr Libi” (Love of my heart) co-written by famous singer and songwriter Idan Raichel and by popular songwriter Doron Medalie which is known for writing multiple Israeli entries including the winning entry of 2018 “TOY”.

Although Eden can make a comeback to the contest she will have to do it with a different song as although the contest was canceled for this year the EBU insisted that the songs for next year should follow the rules of the contest which say that song can compete only if published from the 1st of September of the previous year.
