NRK’s “Adresse Europa” to start airing on 18th of April!

NRK has been airing a special show dedicated to promotion of songs performing at Eurovision Song Contest. First edition of “Adresse Europa” (Address Europe) has been aired back in 2012 with the name “Adresse Baku” when both the host city and all the competing songs at Eurovision 2012 were presented and reviewed by the panel of singers, composers and music directors as well as Eurovision fans. This years would mark traditional 9th edition of the show and it should’ve been called “Adresse Rotterdam” (Address Rotterdam), dedicated to host city Rotterdam and reviewing the 41 entries which should’ve competing at Eurovision 2020. With the contest being cancelled this year the show will have different programe.

NRK has decided to organize a special edition of “Adresse Europa” which will be showcasing the most memorable moments during the 65-year history of Eurovision Song Contest. That includes the range from the best songs to the most spectacular performances and the wildest costumes and much more things which were seen at the stage of Eurovision.

Marte Stokstad will be the host of the show for the 6th time she hosted it in 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, Jenny Skavlan has been the host twice 2013 and 2014. In 2015 show was hosted by Tarjei Strøm.

This year’s panellist will include:
Ingeborg Heldal – editor in chief of KKmagazine, journalist and a regular panellist since 2013,
Per Sundnes – journalist and talk show host who was also a Norwegian commentator at Eurovision 2007 and a regular panellist of the show,
Bendik (Silje Halstensen) – musician,
Jan Thomas – stylist.
As usual, in adition to their comments and rates, four dedicated Eurovision fans will also get a chance to rate everything and share their opinions.

The show will consist out of four episodes and the first one will be aired at NRK 1 on Saturday 18th of April with the start at 21:20 CET. You can watch the previous editions of the show here.
