Tom Leeb to release revamp with new title ‘Mon Alliée’

Tom Leeb, the French Eurovision representative, has released a different version of his 2020 entry. Previously titled ‘The Best In Me’ a new video was released with a bilingual title ‘Mon Alliée (The Best In Me)’. ‘Mon Alliée’ translates to ‘My Ally’ in English.

It upped the French lyrics to a greater extent so that the chorus now has added French lyrics, meaning that the English lyrics have been pretty minimised. Musically it was similar with some minor touches throughout. This version has now been removed from YouTube however.

Update:

Tom has now tweeted that he does indeed intend to change the name to ‘Mon Alliée’ and that the song will have more acoustic touches, this has also been confirmed by the French site 20 Minutes. We will bring you the new version as soon as we have it.
