TVP makes history at JESC by hosting the show twice in a row!

Junior Eurovision will hold its 18th edition this year. After the triumph of Viki Gabor, it was the first time the Host Country won the competition in addition to that Poland is going to be the first country to be the host twice in a row as it has been decided that TVP – Polish broadcaster will get a chance to host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest again in 2020. Date of the show and the host city are going to be announced at a later date.

We are delighted that TVP will be making history once again by hosting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2020. Last year’s event in Gliwice set a new benchmark for the competition. The stunning production brought the Contest to a new level and we are so happy to be working with the talented team at TVP again this year.

Regarding the chance to host JESC 2020, President of TVP, Jacek Kurski stated:

Polish Television is honoured to once again embark on this wonderful adventure and to organize this global event. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is also important because it gives young performers a platform to show their great talent to audiences all over Europe. I am proud that TVP can contribute to their success.
