Ukraine’s UA:PBC ready to send Go_A to Eurovision 2021!

After the news that Eurovision 2020 is being cancelled, the national broadcaster of countries like Spain and The Netherlands already confirmed that their selected acts for 2020 will represent their countries in next year’s edition of the Contest. The next country to do this is Ukraine, as UA:PBC’s General Director, Mr. Zurab Alasaniya confirms.

Mr. Alasaniya confirmed that if nothing major changes in the lives of the members of Go_A, the Ukrainian broadcaster is not going to do any type of national selection for 2021, and that if the band is up for it, they have an open invitation to represent their country next year. The broadcaster will support the band’s preparations for the song contest, and cover all of the organizational issues. He also added:

Our partners and colleagues, STB channel, agree with this decision. Instead, everything about other relations between us – to consider the last National Selection as the last one (2020, the National Selection Agreement between the Public Broadcasting and STB expires) or to extend the term of the contract for a “lost” year – we will decide in working order.

Go_A won Ukraine’s Vidbir this year with “Solovey”. Give it a listen here:
