Victoria is organizing an online concert at 28th of March!

Earlier today Bulgarian representative at Eurovision 2020 Victoria Georgieva made a statement at her Facebook account that she will hold an online concert for all her fans at 28th of March. The Bulgarian broadcaster BNT is also initiating a joint concert online with several of this year’s artists.

The concert will be short as it is scheduled to last for half an hour and it will take place from Victoria’s home in Sofia. There is also a chance for all the people to ask her questions at her Facebook, Instagram and Twitter account which she will answer later on.

Hope you are all well! 💙 On 28 March I will host my first online concert from my home in Sofia, which will be streamed live at 19 CET on eurovision.icard.com. Can’t wait to perform my #Eurovision song Tears Getting Sober live for all of you! Thank you for the support! 🥰 #OpenUp

Victoria’s statement at her official Facebook account

The reason for this initiative lies in the fact that all the pre-parties so far have been canceled and Bulgaria is leading the odds to win the contest.

Despite – or perhaps because – we have a tough time ahead of us, we should find new ways to bring fans and artists closer together, as we now live under strict social measures. Eurovision is all about hope, community and joy, so we will be contacting the other delegations to see if we can hold a joint online Eurovision concert in April for fans and music lovers around the world.

Victoria will sing the song “Tears Getting Sober” in the second half of the second semifinal set for 14th of May 2020.
