The weeks leading up to the Eurovision Song Contest are usually filled with promotional events across Europe. Just like the Contest itself, these events had to be cancelled by their organizers due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organizers of PrePartyES, which would have taken place in Madrid today, will gather fans on YouTube instead. ‘PrePartyES at Home!’ will air at 22:00 CEST and feature 21 of this year’s acts, as well as numerous special guest artists.
PrePartyES at Home! will pay tribute to the 2020 entries and aims to emphasize the importance of staying at home in order to control the spread of the coronavirus. The online event also provides a welcome celebration of music and togetherness in these challenging times.
Artists from 20 other countries have confirmed their attendance — the full line-up includes:
