Ukraine announces a special show to honour Eurovision 2020 songs!

Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC will present a special show in order to familiarize their audience with the entries which should’ve taken part in the contest they will even have a chance to make their rating of the best Eurovision 2020 songs after watching the program. All songs will be shown with Ukrainian subtitles. The show “Про що співає Європа” (What is Europe singing about) hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko (host of ESC 2017 and JESC 2009) will be aired from Monday 4th of May until Thursday 7th of May at 16:30 CET and on Sunday 10th of May at 15:30 on UA:PBC

Timur will reveal all about the artists background, success the songs had and how they won the national selection at which they competed (if they weren’t internally selected of course). The audience will see the official videos of the 41 participants who were supposed to perform at this year’s Eurovision. 

Millions of Eurofans have been waiting for Eurovision as their own birthday. We will see some performers next year, but with new songs. And some countries will elect other representatives. If your favourite artist does not represent your country in 2021, do not worry! We will talk about all participants of the competition in 2020 in the program “What sings Europe

The producer of UA:PBC Stanislav Medvedev invited the audience to watch the show, learn more about the artists, songs and make their personal ranking and he also encouraged all of those who do not speak English to listen to the songs as they will provide subtitles which will help them understand what is Europe singing about. Ukraine should’ve been represented by Go_A with “Solovey” who will also be featured in the show.

UA: PBC will also broadcast – “Eurovision: Europe, lit the light” on May 16th at 21:00 CET and stream it on UA: Радіо Промінь.
