Hurricane to represent Serbia in Eurovision 2021

Formed on the French Island of St. Martin, Hurricane is a Serbian girls band consisting of three singers: Ivana Nikolic, Ksenia Knezevic and Sanja Vucic. The trio had released numerous singles before they participated in the Serbian national final “Beovizija” in 2020 and both Ksenia and Sanja had participated in the Eurovision Song contest before with Ksenia being a backup vocalist for Montenegro in 2015 and Sanja representing Serbia in 2016.

It is earlier today that the news was spread on Blic that the band will be internally selected to represent Serbia in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest which is set to take place in May 2021 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. This is yet to be confirmed by RTS.

The band entered Beovizija with their song “Hasta La Vista” which was co-written by Nemanja Antonić, Kosana Stojić and Sanja Vucic. They eventually won the national final after being ranked first by both the juries and the televoting.

The song itself went through few modifications and had three versions of it released after Beovizija with two of them being in Serbian and a third one in English.
