Scooch releases the cover of ‘Volcano Man’
Who doesn’t remember the epic performance of Scooch at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, which was taking place in Helsinki. Despite the result at the contest, British entry ‘Flying The Flag (For You)’ still remains as the highest charting British Eurovision entry at the UK Singles Charts, reaching #5.
During quarantine season Scooch surprised Eurovision community with a Zoom performance of their song ‘Zoom’ which is taken from their 2000 album ‘Four Sure’. In the past few days they also started teasing the fans with mysterious clips.
Today, at 5 PM they released their very own version of the lead song from the new, upcoming Netflix movie ‘Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga’ which premieres on 26th June – Starring Will Ferrell, Rachel McAdams & Pierce Brosnan.

“Of course, as part of our Scooch 20th Anniversary celebrations, we are thrilled to be able to put our own spin on this (song) and remain an active part in the glory and fun that is Eurovision,” David Ducasse said on the release of the newest Scooch cover.
If that’s the mark for more music from Scooch, we don’t know, but we surely will enjoy the positive vibes with them and fly on the wings of their neverending energy.
