Agnete is taking part in a Norwegian show “Hver gang vi møtes”!

Agnete is going to take part in the new project as she joins the new season of the Norwegian show “Hver gang vi møtes” (Every time we meet). She is known as the Norwegian representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2016 and a winner of 10th season of Norwegian version of the show “Dancing with the Stars”. Taking part in the show is not the only news as Agnete has recently changed her last name to Saba which was her grandmother’s maiden name.

Agnete – “Icebreaker”

During the Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm it was obvious that Agnete was mentally struggling and she couldn’t face the Norwegian press the days before she was set to perform in the semifinals. She didn’t pass through to the finals and in the recent interview for the Norwegian newspaper, VG, Agnete revealed more about her experience in Stockholm and what was happening to her back than:

  • “Yes, what happened… It is a very long time ago, but I think it was that I did not feel so good personally, in addition to a stressful situation, a tense job here and then. It was a bad combo, and there were things I might have started a long time ago and haven’t fully done. So I’ve spent a few years getting to know myself well and finding out who I really am and what I want. So I feel that I have grown a lot through the experience I gained in Stockholm as well. I felt a bit like I wanted to get to the final to please the Norwegian people, but I was simply not present. I didn’t have fun there either, everything got so tough. But at least I managed to perform on stage, I’m proud of that.”, says Agnete.

Regarding the participation in the show “Hver gang vi møtes” she admits that she thought twice before finally saying yes because it is a rather demanding program to participate in, but she thinks that one shouldn’t allow themselves to be limited by challenges, and they should do what they feel doing – despite anxiety or things that can be scary and challenging.
