Jelena Tomašević released a new song!

Serbian singer Jelena Tomašević, released a new song. Jelena had won the Serbian contest Beovizija twice, but only once she represented her home country Serbia at Eurovision. In 2005 she competed with “Jutro” composed by Željko Joksimović but at that occasion she ended on 2nd place at joint selection “Evropesma/Europjesma” of Serbia and Montenegro with 54 points which was 30 points after the winning No Name and she got 0 points from Montenegrin Jury members.

Her 2nd victory at Beovizija came in March 2008, with the song “Oro” composed by Željko Joksimović and written by Dejan Ivanović. The song received the highest number of points from both, the jury and televoters. Jelena got the award for the best interpretation by the selection jury. This time she got a chance to performe at the stage of Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade and ended on 6th place.

Together with two of the participants she met at Eurovision 2008, Sirusho (Armenia) and Boaz Mauda (Israel), Jelena recorded a song “Time To Pray”. The song had it’s premier performed in Serbia during the Beovizija 2009, and was later on presented in Armenia and Israel that same year.

In 2014 OGAE Portugal invited Jelena as a guest star at their ESC party. Jelena performed in two concerts at Setubal with great Portuguese artists and we even had a chance to interview her on that occasion.

Today Jelena has released her new song “Diraj mi usne” (Touch my lips) for which you can watch the video below.
