Listen To Songs and Covers of Hopefuls for Ukrainian Junior Eurovision Selection!

Ukrainian broadcaster has confirmed their participation at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Warsaw and they announced the way their national selection will be organised. After we revealed you the first acts we also wrote about other four songs which will take part and it is time to reveal more young singers who are competing for the final 11 spots which will be decided from 26th to 27th of August we can present you other Junior artists fighting for a place in the national final.

Applications are opened until 25th of August. Participants can submit their applications at the UA: PBC website , if the application meets the requirements of the national selection regulations the participant’s video will be published on the website with the hashtag #uajec2020. And each participant can collect “likes” for their videos until 25th of August. So far they have revealed three participants some of which are familiar to the Ukrainian audience.

Sofiya Adamiv presents her song “Zatamuyu Podykh” (That’s why I breathe). Except of winning many vocal and choreographic competitions Sofiya is also a host of a children’s entertainment show on UA:суспільне and actress of the humorous show “Байки”.

Alisa Botvintseva is singing the cover of the song “Ukrayintsi” (Ukrainians). She is from Chornomorsk and has recently graduated with honors from the 7th grade except singing Alisa practices rhythmic gymnastics and swimming in the Palace of Sports and has a passion for hip-hop at the Free Soul dance school.

Polina Babiy is presenting the song “SuperBit”. She is from Odessa and she participated at the 5th season of The Voice Kids Ukraine and she reached battle rounds where she sang “Show Me Your Love” by Tina Karol. Polina is not the only contestant of the show which hopes to reach national final as Yulya Karimi is also among the acts which hope to get the place in the final and both of them as well as the last years representative of Ukraine at Junior Eurovision Sophia Ivanko finished their competition at the fifth season of The Voice Kids Ukraine in the battle rounds.

From 28th of August to 4th of September, the list of eleven finalist will be announced and the relevant agreements will be signed. Additionally, UA: PBC will provide a song for participants who have submitted previous versions to record. Original song players will also have the opportunity to record this song, if they choose so.

The final phase will commence from 5th to 7th of September when a jury and the users of social networks will decide the winner among the eleven participants.

It is expected that the winner of the next Ukrainian representative at Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be announced before 12th of September. Do you have a favourite singer and song? Let us know in the comments below!
