Which of the 70 singers is your favourite of Ukrainian pre-selection for Junior Eurovision?

Ukrainian broadcaster has confirmed their participation at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Warsaw and they announced the way their national selection will be organised. After we revealed you acts 1-3 we also wrote about acts 4-6 then acts 7-10 were revealed which were followed by acts 11-18and more young singers acts 19-25then acts 26-37 after that acts 38-45 and yesterday the latest acts from 46-54 now it is time to reveal the final 16 artists there is totally 70 young artists who are competing for the final 11 spots (unless some other appear as a later release) Ukrainian Junior Eurovision selection was also hit by a disqualification of one of the applicants about which we wrote here. 

Applications have closed. Participants submitted their applications at the UA: PBC website , and all the applications which meet the requirements of the national selection regulations have been published on the website with the hashtag #uajec2020. Each participant is now collecting “likes” for their videos.

Evanhelina Zamula sings “We’re the One”. She participated at the national final last year with the song “Malyi You” and she has another submission as the vocalist of band “Los Bananas”.

Kristina Dushutina performs “Symphony”. She took part in a project  #BeAStar from “Talant Production” and TV channel “O-TV”.

Yelyzaveta Doroshenko is singing the song “Warrior”. Back in 2012 when she was 6 years old she took part in the first season of “The Voice Kids Ukraine” but didn’t make through blind auditions.

Yelyzaveta Bilokon sings “Litayu ya” (I Fly). She has been practicing her voice in the vocal school “PARADIZ”. So far she won first places in many vocal competitions and also took part in television competitions and performances including the fifth season of Musical Academy Junior.

Polina Zahnoy is covering the Ukrainian version of Swedish Eurovision song for 2020 “Move” by The Mamas. She participated in the third season of “The Voice Kids Ukraine” her coach was Tina Karol and she was eliminated in the battle rounds.

Yelyzaveta Hryhorenko sings “Right Now”. She is from Kyiv and has already participated at festivals.

Sofiya Mohylna is singing “Ty mozhesh zminyty vse” (You Can Change Everything).

Vieronika Dubina is covering “Take me home” by Jess Glynne.

Anzhelina McFarlane is singing “My spirit”. She is from Kherson and in 2017 she won vocal competition “VOCAL.UA”.

Sofiya Vynnyk is covering an Ukrainian romance “Cheremshyna”. She took part in fifth season of “The Voice Kids Ukraine” and reached the knockouts before she was eliminated.

Nikita Boyaryntsev sings “Idy vpered” (Go Forward).

is covering the song “Hora” (The Mountain) by The Hardkiss.

Darina Sidorova is covering “Sila” (Force) by a participant of Ukrainian national final in 2018, Illaria.

Yelyzaveta Sokolovska is covering the song “Can’t Pretend” by Tom Odell.

Sofiya Samolyuk covers “Listen” by Beyonce. Last year she took part in an international vocal festival “Victoria”.

Sofiya Byshova is covering “Giant” by Calvin Harris & Rag’n’Bone Man. She competed in the fifth season of “The Voice Kids Ukraine” and managed to reach the battle rounds before she was eliminated.

From 28th of August to 4th of September, the list of eleven finalist will be announced and the relevant agreements will be signed. Additionally, UA: PBC will provide a song for participants who have submitted previous versions to record. Original song players will also have the opportunity to record this song, if they choose so.

The final phase will commence from 5th to 7th of September when a jury and the users of social networks will decide the winner among the eleven participants.

It is expected that the winner of the next Ukrainian representative at Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be announced before 12th of September. Do you have a favourite singer and song/cover? Let us know in the comments below!
