Armenia confirms their participation at Junior Eurovision 2020!
Armenia is the 14th country which confirmed their participation at Junior Eurovision 2020! It was announced by their head of delegation and TV host, David Tserunyan in the news program. He also confirmed that Armenia is going to take part at Eurovision 2021. You can watch the announcement from fourth minute in the video below.
Last year Armenia was represented by Karina Ignatyan and her song “Colours of Your Dreams” she received 115 points which was enough for 9th place at the show.
Armenia has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 with the song “Mama” by Vladimir Arzumanyan and hosted the show in 2011. They debuted in the show in 2007 and their results include 2nd place on four occasions (2007, 2009, 2015, 2016) and 3rd place on two participations (2012 and 2014).
The countries which have so far confirmed their participation are: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Portugal, France, Georgia, Malta, The Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Ukraineand Germany who will be making their debut. While Australia, Wales, Ireland and North Macedonia announced their withdrawals from the show. The only countries which participation announcement we await are Albania and Italy.
