The winner of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, Eldar Gasimov has just released his brand new single titled “Catch If You Fall”. This song was also shortlisted for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.

When talking about his brand new song, Eldar stated:

“Catch If You Fall” is about a helping hand outstretched to overcome mental and physical difficulties together. It tells about will power and desire to fight for the mutilated and wounded bodies and sould of people who are so dear and close to me to the bitter end.

This song was submitted to Ictimai, to be performed by Efendi at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, and it made the top five. The submitted version also featured Azerbaijan’s traditional instrument Balaban.

The song was written by Eldar himself, together with Farhad Musayev and Omar Abdulkarimov, whilst the video clip was directed by Fuad Aghayev. Check out the song and its video clip right here:
