Eurovision stars among the winners of Zhara Music Awards 2020!

The 3rd annual Zhara Music Awards ceremony took place on 4th of September this year at the Cinema 11th October in Moscow. The awards were hosted by Yulia Baranovskaya and Konstantin Tarasyuk. Due to the pandemic and restrictions regarding the organisation of public events, the show featured only the artists in the cinema who had the opportunity to watch the digital premier of the show (available at the end of the article) while the show in front of an audience with the participation of musicians has been postponed to 4th of April next year and all the tickets which are bought already will be valid for that show. Many of the former Eurovision participants were among the nominees and winners.

“Song of the Year” went to Dima Bilan for “Про белые розы” and it was not the only award which he received as he also won the award for Show of the year for “Планета Билан. На орбите” where he had tough concurrence as other nominees for that prize were: Loboda, Polina Gagarina, Sergey Lazarev and Alla Pugacheva.
The digital artist of the year went to the former member of Serebro – Elena Temnikova while the award for communication among generations went to Zivert/Philip Kirkorov – “Life” 

Some other nominated artists which haven’t won the awards for their category include: Little Big for Band of the year, Philip Kirkorov for best male video of the year, Max Barskih for singer of the year and Maruv for best female video of the year.

Female Video of the Year award went to Loboda for “Пуля-дура” you can watch part of her performance below.

The title of best album of the year went to Sergey Lazarev for “Я не боюсь” (I’m not afraid) he was also nominated for the singer of the year but the title went to Dima Bilan. Sergey’s performance is available below.
