Susan will represent Germany at Junior Eurovision 2020!

Germany has decided that their first representative at Junior Eurovision Song Contest is going to be 13 year old Susan from Berlin and as their song the jury choose “Stronger With You” that was presented through a special show „KiKA LIVE: Junior Eurovision Song Contest – Das Casting“ 

KiKA, NDR and ZDF had to choose between 70 talented young people which applied to be their artist at Junior Eurovision 2020. Five of the ones which applied made it to the casting where they sang the two potential entries: “See You Later” and “Stronger With You” written by Levent Geiger.

The five candidates which performed were:

Linnea May – 13, from Friedrichsdorf in Hesse
Malaika – 14, from Herrsching in Bavaria
Davit – 12, from Neustadt in Rheinland-Pfalz
Leroy Kay – 13, from Neuruppin in Brandenburg
and Susan – 13, from Berlin which was selected to be their representative.

The Jury consisted of:
Martina Haas – Music producer;
Max Mutzke – singer and representative of Germany at Eurovision 2004;
Michele Huesmann – Vocal coach;
Levent Geiger – Author of the songs.
