Belarus will be with us at well during the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest and they will be represented by Arina Pehtereva!

Arina, who was born on 14 March 2008, has been taking vocal lessons from the early age of 6 and has, in her young life, and has since 2014 already participated and won many national and international vocal competitions!
She was a contestant on The Voice Kids and has been seen competing in the national Belarusian selections for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on quite a few occasions!

The song Arina will be singing is called ‘Aliens’ and she herself explains:

The song was written in spring when the coronavirus spread around the world. The idea of my song is simple: The world has stopped, borders have closed, people can no longer visit each other and even the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 is different. But I believe that the future is in our hands, and it is up to us children to save the world and make it better!

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest itself will take place on the 29th of November this year in Warsaw, Poland.
