These are the hosts of Junior Eurovision 2020
The 18th Junior Eurovision Song Contest is set to take place in Warsaw, Poland, on the 29th of November. The EBU has just revealed that this year’s show will once again have three hosts – Ida Nowakowska-Herndon, Rafał Brzozowski and Małgorzata Tomaszewska.
Ida Nowakowska-Herndon is no stranger to Junior Eurovision, as she co-hosted last year’s edition as well, together with Aleksander Sikora and the winner of the 2018 edition of the Contest – Roksana Węgiel. Two new hosts will be joining her at this year’s edition of the Contest.
Małgorzata Tomaszewska is currently the host of the Polish version of The Voice, who previously competed in their version of “Dancing With The Stars”. She is also hosting TVP’s morning show “Question for Breakfast”.
Rafał Brzozowski is the only male host this year. Apart from being a TV host, he is also a singer, and he competed to represent Poland at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Sky Over Europe”. In Krajowe Eliminacje, he finished in second place, only three points behind the winner, Kasia Moś.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Contestants of this year’s event will not be travelling to Poland, but they will all perform in the studios in their own countries. A total of 13 countries are going to take part this year – Armenia, Belarus, France, Georgia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Spain and Ukraine.
Poland won last year’s edition of the Contest for the second time in a row, with the song “Superheroes” by Viki Gabor.
