Damir Kedžo decided that he won’t take part at Dora 2021!

As it was already announced Dora 2021 is going to take place on the 13th of February 2021. HRT has stated that Dora 2021 won’t be cancelled but that they are working on four different scenarios.

Damir Kedžo has made a decision regarding his participation at Dora 2021 which he declared in an interview for dnevnik.hr. He will not apply for the Croatian national selection given the fact that he didn’t find the right song to enter the competition.

“The only reason I signed up for Dora was because I heard a song that I believe in one hundred percent and that I thought would be an excellent representative of Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest. It’s crazy to expect from me and I didn’t think about applying, and I don’t have a song that I would believe in that way and see it on that stage, so nothing from me on that issue, ”

Damir is not the only participant which decided not to apply back for the national selection, as we informed you earlier this day Aksel stated that he didn’t apply for UMK 2021.

In addition to his decision of participating at Dora 2021, Damir talked about his experience of being positive for COVID-19 and being luck for having mild symptoms to it while mentioning the importance of mutual care among everyone because not all of the infected people are experiencing the same strength of symptoms they have. He also revealed that he is planning to release a song in English language and that he prepares a duet with a singer from the same region and he believes in that song.

The submissions for Dora 2021 are opened until the 10th of December, and could be done through the official website here.
