Everything is a little different this year due to unforeseen circumstances and the way SVT will announce next year’s Melodifestivalen artists is gonna be different too!
Obviously it is too much of a health hazard to gather all contestants in one place right now, that’s why SVT are gonna do the following: The artists will be revealed over the next three days, from 07:00 – 15:00 CET, (approximately) an artist per hour!
So:
- Tuesday 1 December: 07:00 – 15:00 (9 artists)
- Wednesday 2 December: 07:00 – 15:00 (9 artists)
- Thursday 3 December: 07:00 – 16:00 (10 artists)
Contest Producer Karin Gunnarsson is very happy with what they have in store for us and says:
By Thursday afternoon all artists will be officially confirmed and I’m very proud of this strong and exciting line-up. It bangs, it glitters, it screams. And there will be many competitions inside the competition, which is not like any other year.
