The Roop were one of the huge favourites the past Eurovision season.
Gaining massive momentum during their national final venture in 2020 already, quickly storming to the top of the odds after winning Pabandom iš naujo with ‘On Fire’.

Regarded as one of the possible winners this year, many fans wished to see them back next year. It became knows that broadcaster LRT were looking to organise their national final again but did want to offer the popular band a free pass to the final.
After months of hoping, the fans get the joyful news this morning: The Roop will compete in the national final in 2021!

On their Instagram page, they write:

//EN// The question we were hearing since spring will be answered now – we decided to take part in the National Eurovision selection. We have a song and we have a vision. Let’s hope it will become Euro-vision.
