The winner of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest for Azerbaijan, Eldar Gasimov, has just released his brand new single, titled “Laçın”.

The music and the lyrics have been written by Xalq Mahnısı. The music producer of the song is Farkhad Musayev who also played the piano in the song, the celloist is Nigar Mammadova, whilst Kamil Huseynov plays the guitar.

The team behind the song clarified that this is a new version of famous Azerbaijani national song, and that this release they are dedicating to the liberation of the city of Lachin in Karabakh.
