Hooverphonic can’t decide which out of the two songs to perform at Eurovision 2021!
After the Eurovision Song Contest got cancelled in March we found out that Belgium is going to send Hooverphonic back as their representatives at the next edition of the show. In an inteview with VTM Nieuws the frontman of Hooverphonic, Alex Callier spoke about the return of Geike Arnaert to the band and the change of their line up in addition to that he revealed some news about their participation at Eurovision Song Contest 2021 claiming that they can’t choose which one out of the two songs to participate with.
“I write very difficult songs to sing’, and Geike’s voice just makes me go a little further to do something else again to find. The combination of that voice with my arrangements is somehow magical. I think that’s why this is the ideal cast for Hooverphonic for many fans.

Meanwhile, the group has had other singers, including Luka, who would go to Rotterdam in 2020. Alex compared that farewell to a breakup in a relationship, which is also always difficult. “When we noticed that we wanted to work with the three of us again, that was just stronger.”
Even though there were the informations that Hooverphonic has already prepared their Eurovision Song Contest 2021 entry it seems like the decision is yet to be made about the song which will they perform at the next edition of the contest.
We haven’t decided on the song yet, but we have two top ones and we just couldn’t choose.
