Another Eurovision artist has revealed as a participant of the popular show Masked Singer, when Finnish Eurovision star Krista Siegfrids removed her mask just before the final of the second season of Masked Singer Finland. Siegfrids finished fourth with her character Taikahattu (Magic Hat).
The members of the four-person panel of Masked Singer Finland didn’t recognize Siegfrids behind her mask in the beginning of the season, mainly because Siegfrids gave them and public some fake clues. She told for example that she doesn’t like performing and she feels the most comfortable when she’s at home baking or gardening. After couple of episodes one of the panelists, Finnish actor Christoffer Strandberg, who is a friend of Siegfrids and was also her UMK co-host in 2018 and 2019, started to suspect that Siegfrids was behind the mask of Taikahattu based on her voice. In the end, all four panelists recognized Siegfrids behind her mask.
Siegfrids got great feedback of her every performance in Masked Singer Finland. She sang many hit songs in Finnish, in English and also in French. Here you can watch her amazing cover of La Vie en Rose by Édith Piaf:
