The 59th edition of the traditional Festivali i Kenges is taking place in a couple of weeks time in Tirana, and the rehearsals for this festival have already started. One of the 26 participants though is not attending the rehearsals, and her participation in the festival is now unclear, due to the fact that she has been infected with COVID-19 and is being treated at home.

As Albanian news portal Zeri reports, the singer Manjola Nallbani was ready to come back to the Festival once again, and compete with the song “Ora e jetes”, but she is now in quarantine at home due to having COVID-19. Kozeta Kurti, a spokesperson in front of the organization of Festivali i Kenges, stated:

Manjola Nallbani has not withdrawn from the Festival. There is still enough time, and we hope that she will recover without any health complications and compete.
