Frock Destroyers hint at Eurovision as petition hits 10,000 mark.

Pop group Frock Destroyers from the first season of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK have hinted at going to the Eurovision Song Contest.

Appearing on the TV Show ‘The Big New Year’s in’ when asked by host Paddy McGuiness what their plans were for 2021, band member Divina De Campo said:

Fingers crossed we’ll be on a world tour with Frock for life and who knows, maybe Eurovision?

The band’s first single ‘Break up Bye bye’ made it to Number two in the UK iTunes charts and Number 44 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart in the US.

Fans of the group have also launched a petition to get the group to Eurovision, with the petition now reaching over 10,000 signatures at the time of writing.

If the groups’ bid to go to Eurovision is successful, Frock Destroyers would be joining a host of other Drag acts who have represented their countries including Sestre, DQ and Conchita Wurst.

The band’s debut album ‘Frock4life’ is now available, which you can purchase by clicking here, and you can see the video for their debut single ‘Break up bye bye’ below:
