From Kadiatou to Eric Saade, here is the running order of Melodifestivalen 2021!

Melodifestivalen 2021, Sweden’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, starts next month. As we reported earlier this month, Christer Björkman is set to host all six of this year’s shows, but will have different co-hosts each week. 28 acts are going to compete to become Sweden’s Eurovision act in 2021, and these acts have now been split into four semi finals, and their running order draw has been determined.

Kadiatou has been drawn to open the first semi final which will take place on the 6th of February, whilst Sweden’s Eurovision entrant from 2011 – Eric Saade has been drawn to close the fourth semi final on the 27th of February. The full running order is as follows:

Semi Final 1:

  1. Kadiatou – One touch
  2. Lillasyster – Pretender
  3. Jessica Anderson – Horizon
  4. Paul Rey – The Missing Piece
  5. Arvingarna – Tänker inte alls gå hem
  6. Nathalie Brydolf – Fingerprints
  7. Danny Saucedo – Dandi dansa

Semi Final 2:

  1. Anton Ewald – New Religion
  2. Julia Alfrida- Rich
  3. WAHL feat. SAMI – 90-talet
  4. Frida Green – The Silence
  5. Eva Rydberg & Ewa Roos – Rena rama ding dong
  6. Patrik Jean – Tears run dry
  7. Dotter – Little Tot

Semi Final 3:

  1. Charlotte Perrelli – Still Young
  2. Emil Assergård – Om allting skiter sig
  3. Klara Hammarström – Beat of Broken Hearts
  4. Mustasch – Contagious
  5. Elisa – Den du är
  6. Alvaro Estrella – Baila Baila
  7. Tusse – Voices

Semi Final 4:

  1. Tess Merkel – Good Life
  2. Lovad – Allting är precis likadant
  3. Efraim Leo – Best of Me
  4. The Mamas – In the middle
  5. Sannex- All inclusive
  6. Clara Klingenström – Behöver inte dig idag
  7. Eric Saade – Every minute

Christer Björkman is going to host all of this year’s shows, and his co-hosts are as follows:

  • Semi Final 1: Lena Philipsson (represented Sweden in Eurovision 2004 with “It Hurts”)
  • Semi Final 2: Oscar Zia & Anis Don Demina (both artists took part in Melodifestivalen multiple times)
  • Semi Final 3: Jason Diakité (rapper also known as Tumbuktu, who hosted the music aid radio/television show Musikhjälpen from its start in 2008 until 2012)
  • Semi Final 4: Per Andersson (actor and comedian) and Pernilla Wahlgren (singer)
  • Andra Chansen: Shirley Clamp (took part in Melodifestivalen multiple times)
  • Final: Måns Zelmerlöw (winner of Eurovision 2015 with “Heroes”) & Shima Niavarani (singer and actress).

This year’s edition of Melodifestivalen will start on the 6th of February, and will continue over six weeks until the Final takes place on the 13th of March. All six shows are going to be held in Stockholm.
