Nina Petković took part in the national selections of Serbia & Montenegro in both 2005 and 2006, and then in Montevizija 2018 and 2019. Her 2018 entry “Dišem” was a big favorite amongst Eurovision fans, but it didn’t win the Contest. Nina has continued the collaboration with the songwriters of “Dišem” – Michael James Down and Jonas Gladnikoff, and released a new single titled “Dance Till I Die”.
When the COVID pandemic hit the world, Nina was working on a cruiser, where she was then quarantined. During this quarantine she collaborated with the band and the dancers she was working with, and together they were working on the choreography and planned to do an official video clip for her brand new song. This idea hasn’t been finalized yet, so Nina released an unofficial music video consisting of personal videoclips and stills made by her and her team on the cruiser.
This video is special because it is made from the videos and photos made during the quarantine time on the cruise ship. The video is more like a short story of our lives and performances (we had the concerts for the crew members), during the lockdown. Thanks to God and these GREAT people we made it – Dancers/choreographers from the theatre – Danielle Jenkinson (choreo and dancer – UK), Morgan Alexa Devalliere (choreo and dancer – USA), Anastasiia Titova (dancer – Ukraine), Rosie Revell (dancer – UK), Shereen Boylan (dancer – UK), Katie Thomas (dancer – UK), Shona Plunks (dancer – UK). Thank you from the bottom of my heart, girls. Also, huge thanks to Nikita Sadykov , DJ and producer, who produced this song and this video. Big thanks also to the authors of this song – Michael James Down and Jonas Gladnikoff.
“Dance Till I Die” is a great upbeat number, and Eurovision fans who loved “Dišem” will definitely love this song. Give it a listen right here, and check out the “unofficial” video clip:
