The 12th season of Dancing With the Stars (Russian version) has premiered and as a participants we have a chance to see a well known Eurovision face, the artist who ended on 3rd place both time he competed at the contest in 2016 and in 2019, Sergey Lazarev.

His dance partner is 33 years old dancer, Master of Sports in ballroom dancing in European and Latin American programs, champion of Russia in 10 dances, Ekaterina Osipova better known as Ekaterina Zubareva. So far Ekaterina has been participating in the show 5 times with her best result being third place could Sergey and her manage to reach a better place remains to be seen. After the jury votes they received 30 points and they were first at the score board after this episode. But audience votes are yet to be announced. Sergey isn’t the first Eurovision artist who took part in the Russian version of the show he joins, Natalia Podolskaya (Eurovision 2005) who danced in 5th season, Diana Gurtskaya (Georgia 2008) who danced in 6th season, Julia Volkova (t.A.T.u Eurovision 2003) she took part in 9th season and the one who won competing in her, 4th season of the show was Julia Savicheva (Eurovision 2004). Could Sergey join Julia and be another Eurovision artist who wins the show or he will join the rest who didn’t manage to be on the top of the scoreboard or we will see another 3rd place?
