The second chance round of Melodi Grand Prix will be held on 15th of February!

On Monday we got to know the participants which are set to compete in the second semifinal of Melodi Grand Prix this Saturday and now we got the information about the date for the second chance round and the way the entry which will be the last and 12th finalist will be chosen.  The final is set to take place on 20th of February. As it was already announced the final lineup will be consisting out of six pre-qualified artists and five semi-final winners (one of each show).

The last place in the final will be decided through a special second chance round. The broadcast of it is set to take place on Monday 15th of February starting at 20:00 CET at NRK, NRK P1, and nrk.no/mgp.

All 15 artists who did not advance from their semi-final, will be competing for the final spot in the Melodi Grand Prix 2021 final show.  Voting will be opened after the last semi-final scheduled for 13th of February finishes.

The three acts which we know so far are the ones which lost in the first semi-final:

Beady Belle – Playing with Fire

Jorn – Faith Bloody Faith

Stina Talling – Elevate

As mentioned those three acts will be joining by the ones which fail to qualify from each semi-final.

Atle Pettersen – “World On Fire”
Stavangerkameratene – “Barndomsgater”
Kaja Rode – “Feel Again”
Rein Alexander – “Eyes Wide Open”
KeiiNO – “Monument”
Blåsemafian – “Let loose”
