Auditions have been held for het Junior Songfestival 2021!

The Netherlands have started their preparations for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest early this year!
In December the deadline passed for young artists to apply the audition round and the Dutch committee was not disappointed! Out of the many applications, they had chosen 30 people to join the audition round, which was held earlier this week.

The 30 that made it through to the audition phase were (the place they’re from also specified by broadcaster ZAPP):

Lilia (Capelle a/d IJssel)
Loïs (Uden)

Mirre (Amsterdam)

Pietje (Utrecht)

Among these, there’s the future representative of The Netherlands at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021, to be held later this year in France!
A few months ago, at Junior Eurovision 2020, The Netherlands finished 4th for the second time in row with ‘Best Friends’ by UNITY:
