Confirmed: Benny Cristo to sing “Omaga” in Eurovision 2021!

After winning last year’s online national final ESCZ with “Kemama”, and the cancellation of last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, ČT has internally selected Benny Cristo to represent the Czech Republic in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.

Benny Cristo joined a Eurovision party on Zoom last night surprising fans, where he also revealed a few more things about his song for Eurovision 2021. He confirmed that the title of his song is “Omaga” (as in, Oh My God), and he said that it’s a song that specially single people can relate to, based on what everyone has been going through recently, however – it’s still an uplifting, happy song, in English, with a line in Czech as well. He also said that for his Eurovision performance, he will be joined on stage by four dancers – two guys and two girls.

“Omaga” was written by Benny himself, and Filip Vlček. The video clip for the song has also been shot already, and both the song and its videoclip will be released in two days time, on the 16th of February, at 19:00 CET. Until then, give another listen to his last year’s entry “Kemama” right here:
