Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will have a virtual audience wall!

On 29th of January we got news about the hosts and some other info regarding Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2021 while we are awaiting tomorrow for the competing entries to be released Danish broadcaster DR revealed what are their plans for the audience at the contest. Unlike last year when Dansk Melodi Grand Prix was held without any audience in the hall this year they will be preparing a virtual audience wall.  Most of the national selections are organized without audience given the circumstances with the Covid-19 pandemic but DR decided to involve the Danes by opening submissions for people to join DMGP from their living rooms via ZOOM.  The things which need to be done as well as the rules could be found on their official website which is available on the link HERE. 

Those include recording of a video which should last maximum 1 minute and reveal why did the person or the people with which they plan to watch the show should get a place among the virtual audience and have fun while doing it. In addition to that they recommended people to follow the advice and recommendations related to events, parties and celebrations in private homes. All the ones who get a spot will get informed of it by 4th of March. 

This years show will be hosted by Tina Müller and Martin Brygmann and total of 8 acts will be competing for a chance to represent Denmark at Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The previous edition of the show was won by Ben & Tan whose song “Say Yes” is available for you to listen below
